Discover the Lehigh Valley

A lot of our guests come ready to explore the Poconos or revisit their favorite places there but we wanted to make sure that no one misses out on The Lehigh Valley! It has so much to offer most of our guests who start to explore it says they wish they could go back for more!

A great site to check out is Discover Lehigh Valley it covers everything from where to eat, shop, dance, the music scene and everything in between.  The website features a discount section, maps, and great event calendar that fills you in on everything going on in the Lehigh Valley. Take a look below for some of the things they have listed for next week (June 10th-12th) and then check out the site for some more great information!

With the start of the summer season upon us, guests often ask what are some fun outdoor activities we recommend for the area, just thought we would share a few of our guests favorite finds!

1. Bushkill Falls

  • The “Niagara of Pennsylvania”, Bushkill Falls is among the Keystone State’s most famous scenic attractions. This unique series of eight waterfalls, nestled deep in the wooded Pocono Mountains, is accessible through an excellent network of hiking trails and bridges which afford fabulous views of the falls and the surrounding forest.

2. Happy Trails

  • A great horse back riding location with a lot of great trails and options.

3. Delware Water Gap Country Club Golf Course

  • It’s not everyday that you can play a scenic mountain course, built-in the 1920’s, that hosted a major tournaments played by so many legendary golfers. That’s what you get at Water Gap Country Club, the historic course, located in the town of Delaware Water Gap, and the site of the Eastern Open in 1926-1928. Affordable Rates and only 10 minutes from the Inn!

4. The Crossings Premium Outlets

  • Outlet center featuring over 100 designer and name brand outlet stores offering savings of 25% to 65% everyday.  Located off Exit 299 of Interstate 80 in Tannersville.  Open year-round except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.  Senior citizen and group discounts available.

5. Mount Airy Casino

6. Easton Farmers Market
